The Jim Gatchell Museum was recently awarded one of just four of the 2023 Medals for Museum and Library Service beating off stiff competition across the nation. This is a highly prestigious and hard-won honor given by the venerated Institute of Museum & Library Services which is rigorous in its decision-making process.
