CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT A


The adoption of this amendment would separate residential real property into its own class of property for purposes of property tax assessments.  The amendment would authorize the legislature to create a subclass of owner occupied primary residences.

2% LODGING TAX

PROPOSITION

Shall Johnson County be authorized to impost a lodging tax at the rate of 2% upon the sales price paid for sleeping accommodations for guests in hotels, motels, tourist courts, trailer parks, campgrounds, dude ranches, short-term condominiums, and similar establishments, in accordance with w.s.39-15-204(A)(III), to support travel and tourism in Johnson County?

1% SPECIFIC PURPOSE SALES

AND USE TAX FOR THE EXCLUSIVE PURPOSE OF

FUNDING SPECIFIC PURPOSES

Shall Johnson County be authorized to impose an additional 1% specific purpose sales and use tax, within Johnson County.

Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for the planning engineering, and construction related to the improvement of the driving surface of Nolan Road in the Town Of Kaycee

AND USE TAX FOR THE EXCLUSIVE PURPOSE OF

FUNDING SPECIFIC PURPOSES

Shall Johnson County be authorized to impose an additional 1% specific purpose sales and use tax, within Johnson County.

Project (Proposition) #2
Five million seven hundred forty-eight thousand six hundred ninety-six dollars and seventy-one cnets ($5,748,696.71) for planning, engineering and construction related to the stree reconstruction and paving including curb and gutter, sidewalk, water main and sewer main, of the public street known as North Burritt from Fort St to Mathers St in the City of Buffalo.
